Terms & Conditions
1. Reservations
1.1 ‘China Fleet Country Club’ is the trading name of China Fleet Country Club Limited (The Hotel). All rooms are offered by the Hotel subject to them being available on receipt of deposit. Verbal quotations are not binding unless confirmed in writing by the Hotel team.
1.2 Please check that the details of your reservation are complete and accurate before you confirm your reservation. We will not be liable for any delay or non-performance if you provide us with incorrect information.
1.3 The offer of any room is subject to the room being available on cleared receipt of a deposit.
1.4 If you have made a specific request when booking online which we are unable to accommodate (such as accessible rooms, party size, dogs etc.) occasionally we may have to refuse your booking even after you have received an automated Booking Confirmation. If we are unable to accept your Booking for any reason, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and will not charge you. This might be because Accommodation or essential facilities are unavailable, or we have identified an error in the price or description of the Accommodation.
1.5 All children (a person under 18 years of age) staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
1.6 Where special arrangements are required, i.e. diet, room location, the Hotel must be advised in writing, every effort will be made to meet these requests, they are not guaranteed and may be chargeable.
2. Payments & Refunds
2.1 Flexible Bookings – We take full payment at the time of booking. Should this booking be cancelled before 12pm, on the day prior to arrival, a full refund will be given. Should the booking be cancelled after 12pm the day before, we will charge the cost of the first night.
2.2 Advanced Purchase Bookings – We take full payment at the time of booking. These bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
2.3 Golf Break Deposit & Terms of Cancellation – Your booking is only confirmed once 20% of the total quoted price has been received. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and is payable by cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer. The
remaining balance and final guest numbers must be received no later than four (4) weeks before your golf break.
One reminder will be issued to the contact details provided. If payment remains outstanding, China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to cancel the booking.
If the booking is cancelled or there is a reduction in guest numbers between 2 and 4 weeks before the golf break, a 50% refund of the cancelled value will be given (excluding the deposit, which remains non-refundable).
If the booking is cancelled or numbers are reduced within 2 weeks, the full balance is payable, and no refund will be issued. All payments made at this stage are non-refundable and non-transferable. Failure to meet the deposit and payment deadlines may result in cancellation of the booking at the discretion of China Fleet Country Club.
2.4 Spa Break Deposit & Terms of Cancellation – Full payment will be taken on booking. If the booking is cancelled before 12pm on the day prior to arrival 50% of the total booking will be taken. Should the booking be cancelled after 12pm the day before, the total cost of the booking will be taken. £25.00 Single supplement applies. £10 per person supplement applies for Friday night stays.
2.5 No refunds or allowances can be made for rooms not being occupied for the full duration of the booking or for any meals or any other supplements not taken
2.6 Online Travel Agents and third-party reservations – Any indirect reservations are subject to separate terms and conditions, or cancellation policy as stipulated on the booking site at the point of making the reservation.
2.7 Promotional Rates – All promotional rate offers are subject to availability and change at the sole discretion of the Hotel. Only a certain number of rooms or offers are available on selected dates and the hotel reserves the right to close out or accept additional bookings regardless of availability. Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
2.8 VAT is included in all prices. Our VAT number is located at the bottom of this correspondence.
2.9 A credit card is required to secure your booking at the time of making the booking. If you purchase any extras during your stay, we are authorized by you to collect the full amount of those purchased extras at any time using the credit or debit card details provided.
2.10 If you do not pay when you are required to do so then we may cancel your Booking and retain your deposit.
2.11 No refunds or allowances can be made for rooms not being occupied for the full duration of the booking or for any meals or any other supplements not taken.
3. Arrivals & Departures
3.1 check-in is from 3:00pm on the day of arrival and apartments will need to be vacated by 11:00am on your day of departure. Refer to General Policy: Leisure Facility Use (Section 1.4) late check-out may be arranged at an extra charge if there is availability.
3.2 Failure to leave your room by the check out time may resort to a late check out charge of up to one nights’ additional accommodation charge.
3.3 Keys should be returned to the hotel reception on check out and outstanding accounts should be settled. Any loss of keys will result in a £40 charge per key.
4. Occupancy
4.1 The maximum occupancy for apartments is as follows:
Tamar – 2 adults, 2 children
Lynher, Acorn Cottage, Acer Cottage – 4 adults, 2 children
Rosewood – 2 adults
4.2 You must not exceed the maximum occupancy for the room allocated to you. We reserve the right to conduct checks on occupancy and compliance with these terms.
5. Supply of Services
5.1 Whilst the hotel brochure and website are intended to give a fair representation of the facilities available, there may be occasions when certain facilities are out of use due to maintenance or the hosting of events. Although all reasonable endeavours will be made to try to ensure that this does not happen, we do not offer refunds in the event of any facilities or services being temporarily withdrawn.
5.2 If you require further information about any particular facilities or their availability, please write well in advance of your holiday so that your queries can be dealt with. The Hotel cannot accept responsibility for anything said to you by our staff outside the information given in the brochure and tariff unless it is confirmed in writing.
5.3 The Hotel Management reserves the right to vary the facilities and amenities on offer if necessary.
6. Credit Facilities
6.1 For credit facilities a £50 per night, credit/debit card pre-authorisation will be required at the time of check-in, Pre-authorisation amounts are reserved funds which will reduce your available balance, these may be shown on your statements. Pre-authorisation amounts are held by your card issuer, at check-out, the reserved funds or credits will be released by the hotel, the processing time varies with different card issuers but can take 7-10 days.
7. Maintenance & Improvements
7.1 As the hotel is open all year round, you may find that there is necessary maintenance, development or refurbishment work taking place during your visit. We will use all reasonable endeavours to keep any noise and inconvenience to a minimum. Please help us to make your stay a happy one: if something goes wrong on your holiday, please let us know before you leave so that we can try to put it right.
7.2 Facility Availability: From time to time, certain facilities may be unavailable due to unforeseen breakages or planned maintenance. Whilst every effort will be made to inform you prior to arrival, this is not always possible. No refunds will be provided due to Health Club Facilities not being available.
8. Guest Rules and Behaviour
8.1 The behaviour of guests and/or their visitors should not be excessive or rowdy and must not cause embarrassment to fellow guests or members of China Fleet Country Club. We reserve the right to recover any compensation payment as a result of your actions, or a member of your party or visiting friends. This includes damage to hotel buildings, fixtures and fittings using the credit card provided.
8.2 All guests must behave responsibly at all times whilst on our premises and grounds. Staff employed by the China Fleet Country Club reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises for any unacceptable behaviour, including but not limited to, verbal or physical abuse towards our staff or other guests.
8.3 China Fleet Country Club is non-smoking throughout all internal buildings, please note, this also applies to e-cigarettes.
8.4 China Fleet Country Club operates a responsible drinking policy throughout the premises, staff reserve the right to refuse service to anyone breaching this clause. The China Fleet is a think 25 establishment meaning that anyone deemed to be under the age of 25 will be asked for identification to verify they are over the age of 18 years.
8.5 The China Fleet Country Club operates a zero-tolerance approach to the use of illegal drugs on our premises.
8.6 Residents will be charged £100 for soiling or smoking in an apartment. Any damage will result in a charge to put the room back to its original condition.
8.7 Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times in each area of China Fleet Country Club. For example, golf shoes when on the golf course and no black sole shoes in the indoor sports courts. See health club rules (link) for more information.
8.8 China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to maintain the copyright of any photographs taken within our property. Photographic and recording equipment (including mobile phones and other electronic devices) is not to be used within the Club’s toilets, changing facilities, health club facilities or children’s play areas. It is essential that permission is sought from the Duty Leisure Manager prior to any form of photography or filming taking place within the Health Club. This is to protect the privacy of our members and guests. This is in conjunction with our Child Protection Policy (link).
9. Car Parking
9.1 Complimentary car parking is available within the main car park. Although every reasonable care is taken, the hotel cannot take any responsibility regarding guests’ cars. Please note that both Acer and Acorn cottages have an allocated parking space near the accommodation.
10. Pets
10.1 We allow dogs in our Acer and Acorn Apartments only. Dog-friendly apartments are limited and are therefore subject to availability.
10.2 All dogs must be well behaved, and house trained. No other pets are permitted. Assistance dogs for disabled guests are exempt from these requirements and charges.
10.3 Dogs are charged at £15 per dog, per night and prior notification must be given and approved prior to your stay.
10.4 Dogs (other than assistance dogs) are allowed in Apartment grounds and The Cabin Café & Bar area ONLY and are not allowed in any of our Club facilities or play areas. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times throughout the resort.
10.5 If any dogs are found to be making excessive noise or causing a disturbance to other guests, we reserve the right to ask owners to find alternative accommodation elsewhere. If we reasonably believe your dog is causing a nuisance or causing damage to the apartment you will be required to remove it from the Club premises.
10.6 Dogs should not be left unattended in your apartment or elsewhere at the Club and must not be allowed on any bedding or seating.
10.7 Any stains or damage must be paid for according to the cost of replacement or repair. If you are found with a dog in an apartment that is not classed as pet friendly you will be charged £100 soiling fee, and we will reserve the right to ask you to leave.
10.8 Owners are responsible for their dog’s food and bedding. Dog blankets and bowls provided are the property of the China Fleet Country Club and must not be removed.
10.9 Please clean up any mess left by your dog and place it in the dog bins provided in the cottage gardens or bins around the resort.
11. Liability
11.1 The Hotel shall not, except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Hotel’s negligence or in circumstances of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation (or as otherwise provided for in these terms), be liable whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the Hotel, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the facilities and services under these terms. The Hotel’s total liability in contract, tort, misrepresentation or otherwise arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the services shall be limited to the price paid for those services.
11.2 All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from these terms.
11.3 China Fleet Country Club cannot be held responsible for cash or valuables.
12. Force Majeure
12.1 The Hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities or services as a result of events or matters outside its control, including (but not limited to) fire; explosion; storm; flood; Act of God, pandemic, action by Government or a Governmental agency; shortage of goods or materials; strike or lock-out.
13. Contagious Illness
13.1 For the protection of all our guests, if we believe that anyone in your party is likely to have, or is carrying, a contagious illness we will not allow them or any other members of your party sharing the same room to use any part of the hotel premises except their room.
14. Fire Safety
14.1 The hotel is up to date with its fire precautions and each apartment has its own fire evacuation procedures, located in each apartment.
15. Child Protection Policy
15.1 China Fleet Country Club holds the welfare and safety of children as paramount. We have a full child protection policy and designated child protection officers. Please ask at either Hotel or Leisure reception should you need to see these members of staff.
16 Club Rules
16.1 Please adhere to all Club Rules when using the facilities. Please note that children under 8 years of age must be supervised by an adult when using the pool. Please see Club Rules (link).
17 Valuables
17.1 China Fleet Country Club cannot be held responsible for cash or valuables
18. Spa Breaks
18.1 Spa Breaks are subject to availability and not available during school holidays and Saturdays.
18.2 Please note our Barn Spa and Aqua Spa are located in 2 separate buildings. Robe, towels and footwear are intended to be worn in the Aqua Spa
18.2 Guests are asked to arrive a minimum of 10 minutes prior to treatment time. The Barn Spa will not be held liable for shortened or cancelled treatments due to lateness
18.3 The minimum age for our Spa Breaks is 16 years. All children (a person under 18 years of age) staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
18.4 All medical concerns you may have must be brought to our attention prior to any treatments (i.e. pregnancy, epilepsy etc), a doctors note may be required. The Barn Spa will not be held liable for any treatment cancelled due to ill health or the lack of information given at the time of booking and no refunds will be given.
18.5 If you wish to choose an additional treatment, following your chosen treatment, pre-booking is advisable for spa breaks to avoid disappointment
18.6 Open-toed shoes must be worn prior to a pedicure treatment
18.7 Any reservation made using gift voucher purchases will be subject to our booking policy. Vouchers will be automatically redeemed in the case of a no show or cancellation on the day.
18.8 All advertised treatment times include client preparation time (Pre and Post) & consultation
18.9 A charge of £25 will be incurred for each robe not returned to China Fleet Country Club
18.10 Once a booking has been confirmed, should the client wish to make any changes it is the client’s responsibility to contact the Hotel Reception Team, on agreement of the changes a new booking confirmation will be sent
19. Golf Breaks (Inclusive of Mini and Indulgence Golf & Spa Breaks)
19.1 It is your responsibility to inform China Fleet Country Club of any changes to your contact information.
21. Lost Property
Items of lost or found property should be reported or handed into reception as appropriate. If unclaimed, items will be donated to the appropriate local charity on a weekly basis.

1. Spa Days and General Treatments

1.2 Arrival at the Hotel and Spa Reception 10 minutes prior to treatment time is required to allow us to discuss your treatment or spa day & to take your lunch order. Barn Spa will not be held liable for shortened or cancelled treatments due to lateness
1.3 Spa Days are Sunday – Friday only (subject to availability. Not available during school holidays)
1.4 Our Aqua Spa and Barn Spa are located in two separate buildings. Robes, towels & footwear are intended to be worn in the Aqua Spa (only provided for Spa Days & Spa Breaks)
1.5 The minimum age for our Spa Days and General treatment is 16 years (unless specified otherwise).
1.6 If you wish to choose an additional treatment, following your chosen treatment, pre-booking is advisable for spa days to avoid disappointment

1.14 All gift vouchers are non-refundable/non-transferable and must be used in full. No change given. Gift vouchers presented without bookings will not be accepted. Any reservation made using this voucher will be subject to our normal booking policy. Vouchers will be automatically redeemed in the case of a no-show or cancellation on the day. Aqua Spa- Visitor Usage
1. 1 The minimum age for the Aqua Spa is 16 years
1.2 Non-members are required to book in advance, either online or by phone. All sessions are subject to availability.
1.3 Aqua Spa sessions for visitors are allocated in 2-hour time slots, which include access to the swimming pool. Guests are kindly asked to respect the session duration and ensure they do not exceed the allotted time.
1.3 If less than 48 hours cancellation notice is provided your payment will be non-refundable/non-transferable
1.4 Please note robe, towels & slippers are not provided for Aqua Spa visits
1.5 Facility Availability: From time to time, certain Aqua Spa facilities may be unavailable due to unforeseen breakages or planned maintenance. Whilst every effort will be made to inform you prior to arrival, this is not always possible. No refunds will be provided unless two or more key features (excluding showers) are out of action. If two or more key facilities are unavailable, a partial refund will be issued if the Aqua Spa is used, or a full refund will be offered if the Aqua Spa is not used.

1.1 For Afternoon Tea & Brasserie bookings, no booking is confirmed until full payment per head or voucher number for your booking has been received.
1.2 Vouchers to be presented on the day of booking.
1.3 Afternoon tea bookings are non-refundable, non-transferable.
1.4 For groups of 9 or more in the Brasserie, a £5 per person deposit is required, along with a pre-order 48 hours in advance.

1.6 Food and Beverage discount is available in the Brasserie, Lounge Bar & The Cabin for members only. Discounts, cards and digital loyalty are for the express use of members only. Any misuse could result in the removal of discount privileges and loyalty points on the account being used.
1.7 Discount & points exclusions apply to certain items, not in conjunction with any other offers
1.8 Loyalty points have no transferrable cash value and are only valid for use whilst still a member.
1.9 The Club reserves the right to close the Cabin Café & Bar at any time if usage levels are low during poor weather
1.1 For Golf Days a deposit is required to confirm your booking and can be paid by cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer.
Groups of 8–24: Your booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of two player’s full package price.
Groups of 24+: Your booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of 20% of the total quoted price.
1.2 Final participant numbers must be confirmed no later than seven days prior to your golf day.
If the booking is cancelled or the number of participants is reduced within this period, 50% of the cancelled value will be charged on arrival, minus the deposit already paid.
1.3 If the booking is cancelled or numbers are reduced within 48 hours of the golf day, the full balance of the original booking will be payable on arrival.
1.4 All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.5 Failure to meet the required deposit or payment deadlines may, at the discretion of China Fleet Country Club, result in the cancellation of your booking.
1.6 It is your responsibility to notify China Fleet Country Club of any changes to your contact details.
1.7 Weather policy: If the Golf Course is open the booking will be expected to be fulfilled with no refunds given
1.8 Group Organiser. The person named in all correspondence will become known as “The Group Organiser”. He/she will remain as group organiser until the stay is completed. The group organiser will be our point of contact at all times and will be granted authority to deal with us on behalf of every member of the relevant group. The group organiser accepts full responsibility for his/her group, and he/she should ensure all members of his/her party adhere to the terms and conditions at all times.
1. Conditions of Play
1.1 Standard of Golf. Whilst we do not require handicap certificates, we request that all players are of a competent ability and respect other golfer’s abilities.
1.2 Tee Times. You are expected to check into the Golf Shop on arrival to the club and arrive on the tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time.
1.3 Pace of Play. Our course carries a pace of play guideline of no more than 4.5 hours per round. Slow play must be avoided at all times and where possible keep up with the group in front. If this is not adhered to you may be issued an initial warning by a China Fleet Country Club staff member to speed up.
1.4 Dress Code. No denim/jeans or tracksuits are allowed. Trousers or tailored shorts only to be worn (no combat style trousers or shorts allowed) and all shirts must have a collar or a mock neck (no round neck T-Shirts permitted) short socks are permitted with shorts. Only golf shoes may be worn on the Golf Course. Golf shoes may be worn in the area of the Club only where designated. Although these areas are covered with a spike-proof carpet, golfers are requested to take extra care to ensure that golf shoes are free from mud and grass before entering from the Golf Course. Should a member of your group be inappropriately dressed we will refuse them access to the golf course.
1.5 Buggies. Buggies may only be driven by those over the age of 18 years. The use of all buggies, electric trolleys and trolleys are subject to weather conditions and is made on a daily basis by our Course Manager. This decision is based on creating the best playing conditions for those on the golf course on the day and also the health and safety of those on the golf course. View Buggy Safety Policy here (link)
Golf Buggies: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to golf buggies through negligent use. Negligent use includes, but is not limited to, reckless driving, exceeding passenger limits, or operating the buggy under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any damages incurred will be charged to the guest responsible.
1.6 China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to remove golfers from the course who are not deemed to be of a competent ability or who fail to abide by the conditions of play.
1.7 Group Organiser. The person named in all correspondence will become known as “The Group Organiser”. He/she will remain as group organiser until the stay is completed. The group organiser will be our point of contact at all times and will be granted authority to deal with us on behalf of every member of the relevant group. The group organiser accepts full responsibility for his/her group, and he/she should ensure all members of his/her party adhere to the terms and conditions at all times.
1.7. Code of conduct. China Fleet Country Club places great emphasis on providing a pleasant and safe environment for its guests and staff. As such, we reserve the right to ask any guest who is abusive, threatening, or offensive to guests or staff to leave the club immediately and will incur any relevant early departure charges. Reasons for summary eviction include drunken behaviour, unreasonable demands, foul language, racist comments, suspected theft from the company or other guests, trespass in staff only areas, wilful avoidance of agreed charges, and suspected use of illegal substances – although this list is not exhaustive. All of our public areas are covered by CCTV and a 24-hour Security/Night Management Team. We reserve the right to recover any compensation payment as a result of your actions, or a member of your party, or visiting friends. This includes damage to hotel buildings, fixtures and fittings
1.8 China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to charge you for any breakages or malicious damage to property caused by anyone within your party.
1.9. If China Fleet Country Club is prevented from carrying out all its obligations by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including government intervention, strikes, labour disputes, accidents, acts of God, national or local disasters or war, or any event causing the whole or a substantial part of the Company to be closed to the public, The Company’s liability will be no greater than the amount already paid by The Client to the Company in respect of services booked.
1.10. Car Parking – Complimentary car parking is available. Although every reasonable care is taken, China Fleet Country Club cannot take any responsibility regarding guests’ cars.
1.11 Pets – Pets are not permitted in the main leisure complex, or on the golf course
1.12 Special Offers – Special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and if conditions are not met the standard tariff will apply. Selected dates may not be available for special offers
Refurbishment – China Fleet Country Club continually strives to improve levels of comfort and the quality of services in all areas. Should any refurbishment works be underway, we always try to minimize the impact of this during your stay
2. Golf Tee Time Cancellation Policy
2.1 Up to 7-days prior to the booking a full refund can be given
2.2 7-day to 48 hours prior to the booking a 50% refund can be given or the booking can be moved to another date and time. Additional green fee payments may be required.
2.3 48 hours prior to the booking – The booking cannot be moved, and payment is non-refundable.
3. Golf Shop & Foremostgolf.com Price Match Promise
3.1 Golf Shop Refund Policy: Items purchased from our golf shop can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. Custom-fitted items are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method upon receipt and inspection of the returned items. Items purchased from our golf shop can be returned within 30 days of receipt for exchange provided they are unused and in their original packaging.
Competition vouchers: can only be used against retail items in the Golf Shop. This excludes Driving Range, Vending products, hire items and green fees.
3.2 We Price Match against any authorised stockist/golf retailer within the United Kingdom and prices must be publicly available to price match.
3.3 The competitor’s product must be an identical/like-for-like match and the item matched must be available for sale and in stock.
3.4 We do not price match from Marketplace websites such as Amazon or eBay, factory outlets, home shopping networks, clearance sites, or goods which are being liquidated by another retailer.
3.5 We do not price match against second-hand goods or when the price comes with conditions, i.e. membership.
3.6 Competitor’s delivery costs will be taken into account when price matching.
3.9 Foremost Golf reserves the right to decline any price match.

5. Driving Range & VIP Bay
5.1 China Fleet is not responsible for any damage to equipment whilst using the Driving Range facility.
5.2 No alcohol can be consumed on the Driving Range which has not been purchased onsite.
5.3 No glass bottles are permitted on the Driving Range
5.4 Any damage to China Fleet property must be reported to staff immediately and are liable for any costs incurred as a result.
5.5 No refunds are provided for unused Golf Balls or unredeemed purchases.
5.6 Customers must be considerate of others whilst using the Driving Range facility.
5.7 Users are responsible for how a bay is set up prior to use.
5.8 Users are responsible for their own safety when using the Driving Range facility.
5.9 No refunds are provided should Toptracer not be operating.
1.1 Christmas Payments – Your booking is only confirmed when both the initial deposit and signed and verified contract are received.
1.2 Initial deposit. Your booking is only confirmed once £12 for festive lunches/dinners and £16 for christmas party nights has been received. all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.3 One month before the date of your christmas party, or 14 days before your festive lunch. full payment of the outstanding balance is required. Any amendments to the final pre-paid number of guests should be advised to china fleet country club. all menu choices and table plans must be submitted including all dietary requirements. chefs choice will be served if these details are not received. any changes after this time cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to a £15 administration charge per change. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.4 Failure to comply with the deposit and payment schedule may at China Fleets discretion result in the cancellation of the booking.
1.5 It is your responsibility to notify the China Fleet Country Club of any change to your contact details.
1.6 China Fleet Country Club does not accept liability for loss or damage to any object, equipment, furniture, stock or other property brought on to the premises by you or hired on your behalf.
1.7 The China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to charge you for any breakages or malicious damage to property caused by anyone within your party. 1.8. No beverages of any kind are permitted to be brought to any event at China Fleet Country Club by guests or clients.
1.9 China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to refuse admission.
1.10. No company accounts will be allowed, unless by prior agreement. All addition costs must be settled on the day.
1.11. If The China Fleet Country Club is prevented from carrying out all its obligations by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including government intervention, strikes, labour disputes, accidents, acts of God, national or local disasters or war or any event causing the whole or a substantial part of the Company to be closed to the public, The Company’s liability will be no greater than the amount already paid by The Client to the Company in respect of services booked.
1.1 Conference & Events Deposits & Payments: Your booking is only confirmed when both the signed and verified contract and initial 25% deposit is received, unless you have a credit agreement, this will also be payable upon all cancellations. The remaining balance is required 14 days before the conference for those that do not have a credit agreement with China Fleet Country Club.
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable including reduction in numbers after 14-day deadline. Any changes after this time cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to a £15 Administration charge per change.
All payments payable by cash, credit/debit card or bank transfer.
1.2 One reminder will be sent to the supplied details and if remains unpaid the China Fleet Country Club reserve the right to cancel the booking.
1.3 Menu choices and final guest numbers must be submitted 14 days before the event. If this information is not received, a default menu (Chef’s Choice) will be provided.
1.4 Credit Agreements. Where a credit agreement exists, invoices presented by China Fleet Country Club will be payable within 30 days from the date of issue. Any queries on invoices must be notified to China Fleet Country Club within 14 days of the invoice date. Should queries not be raised within this time period, full payment will be required. All credit facilities are issued at the discretion of China Fleet Country Club, subject to The Client providing 2 credit references within 7 days of the application request details and the subsequent results of credit checks. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. For credit agreements, if bookings are cancelled or reduced in numbers 14 days or less prior to the event date then 50% of the outstanding booking will be payable.If bookings are cancelled or reduced in numbers 7 days or less prior to the event date then 75% of the outstanding balance will be payable. If bookings are cancelled or reduced in numbers 48 hours or less prior to the event date then 100% of the outstanding balance will be payable.
1.5 All rates are inclusive of current VAT. Any future changes to taxes will affect the prices accordingly

1.11 Only food purchased on site is permitted within the premises. Unauthorised food i.e. packed lunches or personal buffets will result in a surcharge of £10 per person.
1.12 The China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to alter the layout or change rooms to be provided for the purpose of the conference under exceptional circumstances.
1.13 The China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to charge for any breakages or malicious damage to property during the booking.
1.14 China Fleet Country Club shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations, or for any delay in performance, due to events beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, pandemic, government restrictions or regulations, strikes, civil commotion, terrorism, or failure of suppliers or subcontractors. In such cases, the Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event without liability beyond refunding any payments already made for services not yet delivered.
1.15 All clients and their guests are required to adhere to current health and safety legislation and to follow any safety instructions issued by China Fleet Country Club staff. It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure that all participants act in a safe and responsible manner. China Fleet reserves the right to stop any activity deemed unsafe or non-compliant. Any equipment or items brought onto the premises must be PAT tested and approved for use.
1.16 Cancellation of all Hotel rooms prior to your event will be subject to a £20 cancellation fee per room, per night. If a hotel reservation is cancelled after 12pm the day before arrival, then full payment for the 1st night of your stay will be taken minus any deposit paid for the hotel room.
1.17 China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to cancel the event if payment terms are not met.

1.16 The nature of any entertainment must be disclosed in advance. The Club reserves the right to refuse access.
1.17 Guests are not permitted to bring their own beverages onto the premises. All drinks must be purchased through China Fleet Country Club. Any unauthorised beverages found on-site may be confiscated, and a surcharge may be applied.
1.18 Table decorations may be delivered up to 5 days in advance with prior arrangement (excluding flowers).
1.19 China Fleet does not accept responsibility for safeguarding of presents or gifts.
1.20 The Club reserves the right to charge for any breakages or malicious damage caused by any member of your party.

1.2 Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of both a signed and verified contract and an initial deposit of £1,250 or 25% of the total quoted price (whichever is greater).This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and may be paid by cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer.
1.3 Second Scheduled Payment – 6 Months Before Wedding. 70% of the remaining balance is due six months prior to your wedding date.If payment is not received, China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to cancel your booking. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.4 Final Scheduled Payment – 6 Weeks Before Wedding. The final balance and confirmed guest numbers are due six weeks prior to the wedding. Any reduction in numbers after this point will not be eligible for a refund. All payments remain non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.5 Final Event Details – 1 Month Before Wedding. Menu choices (including dietary requirements), table plans, and all pre-orders must be submitted no later than one month before the wedding. If these are not received, Chef’s Choice will be served. Changes made after this point may be subject to a £15 administration charge per change and cannot be guaranteed.
1.6 Wedding Insurance. We strongly recommend all couples obtain suitable wedding insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
1.7 VAT – All prices include VAT at the current rate. Any changes to VAT will be reflected in the final cost.
1.8 Non-Compliance with Payment Schedule. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of your booking at the discretion of China Fleet Country Club.
1.9 Full payment is required in advance for all third-party services booked on your behalf by China Fleet Country Club.
1.10 If you arrange your own entertainment, you must provide copies of the public liability insurance and PAT certificates no later than one month before the event. Failure to provide these may result in cancellation of entertainment services by China Fleet.
1.11 The nature of any entertainment must be disclosed in advance. China Fleet reserves the right to deny access if entertainment is deemed inappropriate or non-compliant.
1.12 All disputes regarding entertainers booked on your behalf must be directed to the third-party company directly. China Fleet acts solely as an agent in such cases.
1.13 It is your responsibility to notify China Fleet of any changes to your contact information.
1.14 If China Fleet is unable to fulfil its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g. strikes, acts of God, pandemics), its liability is limited to the value of payments received for services not yet delivered.

1.22 China Fleet Country Club does not accept responsibility for wedding gifts or valuables. This remains the responsibility of the couple.
1.1 Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be extended beyond their expiry date.
1.2 Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions, or members’ discounts.
1.3 All vouchers must be used in full; no cash change or alternative voucher will be issued for unused balances.
1.4 Each voucher is valid for a single redemption only and is subject to availability and change.
1.5 All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise. Exceptions include Winter Golf Breaks, Winter 4-Ball, and Festive Afternoon Tea, which are subject to shorter, stated validity periods.
1.6 A reservation must be made in advance to redeem a gift voucher. You must quote the voucher number at the time of booking.
1.7 Gift vouchers must be presented on arrival for validation. Failure to do so may result in the voucher being refused as a method of payment.
1.8 Vouchers will not be accepted without a valid booking.
1.8 If a customer fails to attend their booking or cancels on the day, the voucher will be automatically marked as redeemed and will not be reissued.
1.9 All reservations made using a voucher are subject to the normal booking policies of China Fleet Country Club.
1.10 Gift vouchers are sold subject to the terms and conditions of use.
1.11 Gift vouchers cannot be extended, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.12 All gift vouchers must be used in full. No change or voucher for unused differences can be issued.
1. These Terms
1.1 What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply our services to you.
1.2 Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your request to become a member. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide membership services to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
2. Information about us & How to contact us
2.1 Who we are. We are China Fleet Country Club Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 02527923 and our registered office is Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 6LJ.
2.2 How to contact us. You can contact us by speaking to a member of staff on-site or by telephone, post, or e-mail using the contact details provided on our website.
2.3 How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you have previously provided to us.
2.4 “Writing” includes email. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes email but excludes fax.
3. Our contract with you
3.1 How we will accept your application to become a member. Our acceptance of your membership request will take place when we tell you that we are able to provide you with the services, which we will also confirm in writing to you, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
3.2 If we cannot accept your order for any reason. If we are unable to accept your order, we will let you know and refund any amount paid for services.
4. Membership subscriptions
4.1 Monthly Subscriptions
4.1.1 Every effort will be made by the Club to collect all Direct Debit payments within the first 7 days of the month
4.1.2 Children’s subscriptions will increase on a milestone birthday
4.1.3 All partners/children share the same benefits as the primary member
4.1.4 Failure to pay your monthly subscription by the first of the month will result in your membership being suspended and subsequently cancelled. Please note this will prohibit you and all family members from access to all health club facilities and all discounts will be void.
4.2 Annual Subscriptions
4.2.1 Annual payment is for a twelve month period, however a pro-rata payment will be required for all children reaching milestone birthdays
4.2.2 All partners/children share the same benefits as the primary member
4.2.3 Membership can only be cancelled prior to annual renewal
4.2.4 Failure to pay your annual subscription by the first of the month will result in your membership being suspended and subsequently cancelled. Please note this will prohibit you and all family members from access to all health club facilities and all discounts will be void.
5. Our rights to make changes
Changes to the services. We may change the services to:
5.1.1 reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; or
5.1.2 implement minor technical adjustments and improvements.
6. Providing the services
6.1 When we will provide the services. The services will be made available to you for the duration of your membership, as set out on the application form.
6.2 You will be required to abide by the Club rules. Failure to comply with Club rules may result in the suspension of all or part of the services or termination of this Agreement.
6.3 We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our performance of the services is affected by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the service.
6.4 What will happen if you do not provide the required information to us? We will need certain information from you so that we can provide the services to you, for example, your name, age and address. If you do not provide us with this information, or you provide us with incomplete or incorrect information, we may either end the contract (see clause 7.1) or make an additional charge of a reasonable sum to compensate us for any extra work that is required as a result. We will not be responsible for providing the services late or not providing any part of them if this is caused by you not giving us the information we need within a reasonable time of us asking for it.
6.5 Reasons we may suspend the services. We may have to suspend the services:
6.5.1 to deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes;
6.5.2 to update the services to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements;
6.5.3 to carry out improvements to our services;
6.5.4 to make changes to the services as requested by you or notified by us to you (see clause 4); or,
6.5.5 if you are found to have breached the rules.
6.6 Your rights if we suspend the services. We will contact you in advance to tell you we will be suspending the services unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. If we have to suspend the services for longer than one month you may contact us to end the contract.
6.6.1 The Managing Director may, restrict or close certain facilities or cancel any event, exercise class or leisure activity within the Club. For example, the closure may be the result of essential maintenance or an organised function, which will ultimately be to the benefit of members. In the unfortunate event of a facility breakdown or the lack ofresources (i.e. staff of a suitable nature, qualification and training) the Club will work tirelessly to resolve the issue. Any consequent downtime will not result in a membership subscription rebate.
6.7 We will suspend the services if you do not pay. If you do not pay us for the services when you are supposed to (see clause 9.3) we may suspend the supply of the services until you have paid us the outstanding amount.
7. Your right to end your contract
7.1 You can always end the contract before the services have been supplied and paid for. You may contact us at any time to end the contract for the services, but in some circumstances, we may charge you for doing so, as set out below.
7.2 What happens if you have a good reason for ending the contract. If you are ending the contract for a reason set out at 6.2.1 to 6.2.5 below the contract will end immediately and we will refund you in full for any services which have not been provided. The relevant reasons are:
7.2.1 we have told you about an upcoming change to the services or these terms which you do not agree to (see clause 4);
7.2.2 we have told you about an error in the price or description of the services and you do not wish to proceed;
7.2.3 there is a risk that access to the services may be prohibited because of events outside our control;
7.2.4 we suspend the services for technical reasons, or notify you are going to suspend them for technical reasons, in each case for a period of more than 1 month; or
7.2.5 you have a legal right to end the contract because of something we have done wrong.
7.3 What happens if you end the contract without a good reason. If you are not ending the contract for one of the reasons set out in clause 6.2, the contract will end immediately but we may charge you an administration fee and you may not be refunded any amount already paid to us before the time of cancellation.
8. Our right to end the contract
8.1 We may end the contract if you break it. We may end the contract at any time by writing to you if you do not;
8.1.1 make any payment to us when it is due and you still do not make payment after we have reminded you that payment is due;
8.1.2 within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information that is necessary for us to provide the services to you; or
8.1.3 adhere to the rules in Making The Most Of Your Membership.
8.2 You must compensate us if you break the contract. If we end the contract in the situations set out in clause 7.1 you will not be entitled to a refund of any money you have paid in advance for services.
9. If there is a problem with the services

• you can ask us to repeat or fix a service if it’s not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or get some money back if we can’t fix it.
• if you haven’t agreed on a price beforehand, what you’re asked to pay must be reasonable.
• if you haven’t agreed on a time beforehand, it must be carried out within a reasonable time.10. Price & Payment
10.1 Where to find the price for the services. The price of the services (which includes VAT) will be the price set out in our price list in force at the date of your order unless we have agreed on another price in writing. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of services advised to you is correct.
10.2 We will pass on changes in the rate of VAT. If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we provide the services, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the services in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.
10.3 When you must pay and how you must pay. You may pay either on a monthly or annual basis;
10.3.1 Monthly payments. Direct Debit payments using the details you provide to us will be made on a monthly basis until you cancel the services.
10.3.2 Annual payments. The services must be paid for in advance, and each payment made will entitle you to receive the relevant services for a twelve month period.
10.4 What happens if you do not pay. If you do not make any payment to us by the due date or your Direct Debit payment has been cancelled, or your account does not have sufficient funds, we may:
10.4.1 make further attempts to take the payment from you;
10.4.2 charge an administration fee for processing late payment or cancellation of the service; and/or
10.4.3 restrict access to all of the Services.
10.5 What to do if you think a payment is wrong. If you think a payment you have made to us is wrong please contact us as soon as possible to let us know.
10.6 If you wish to cancel your membership you are required to: give the club a minimum of 14 days notice, contact your bank/building society to cancel your direct debit instruction
10.7 When the membership expires, if you wish to re-join a re-joining fee will apply (applicable to ALL membership categories)
10.8 A couple membership denotes two persons, both parties must be over the age of 16 years of age and using one bank account to make the membership subscription payment. The couple do not have to share the same address.
10.09 All partners/children share the same benefits as the primary member
10.10 Full weekday members are entitled to use all appropriate leisure facilities between 7.00am-5.00pm, Monday-Friday, and can use the facilities at the weekends on a pay-as-you-pay basis. The latest admission Monday-Friday is 4.30pm and all leisure facilities must be vacated by 5.00pm
10.11 Membership can be medically suspended for a limited period of time, this is subject to management discretion. Proof required ie: doctors note. This will be reviewed on a regular basis and can be unilaterally withdrawn by the Club
11. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you
11.1 We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us.
11.2 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents, or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the services including the right to receive services which are as described and supplied with reasonable skill and care.
11.3 We are not liable for certain losses. We only supply the services for personal use. We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity from your use of our services and we do not guarantee our services to be error free. We are not liable for loss or damage to your property while you are on our premises.
12. How we may use your personal information
Use of any personal information you provide to us is subject to our Privacy Policy. In addition, the following clauses apply:
12.1 How we will use your personal information. We will use the personal information you provide to us to:
12.1.1 provide the services;
12.1.2 process your payment for such services; and
12.1.3 if you agreed to this during the order process, to inform you about similar products that we provide, but you may stop receiving these communications at any time by contacting us.
12.2 We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.
13. Other important terms
13.1 How we communicate with you. Our main method of communication is via email, it is therefore essential that you provide us with an email address.
13.2 China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to maintain the copyright of any photographs taken within our property. Photographic and recording equipment (including mobile phones and other electronic devices) is not to be used within the
Club’s toilets, changing facilities, health club facilities or children’s play areas. It is essential that permission is sought from the Duty Leisure Manager prior to any form of photography or filming taking place within the Health Club. This is to protect the privacy of our members and guests. This is in conjunction with our Child Protection Policy (link).
13.3 We may transfer this Agreement to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will contact you to let you know if we plan to do this. If you are unhappy with the transfer you may contact us to end the contract within one month of us telling you about it and we will refund you any payments you have made in advance for services not provided.
13.4 Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
13.5 If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining parts will remain in full force and effect.
13.6 Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, this will not mean that you do not have to do those things or prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. For example, if you miss a payment and we do not chase you but we continue to provide the services, we can still require you to make the payment at a later date.
13.7 Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the services in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the services in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the services in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
13.8 Alternative dispute resolution. Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. If you are not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you may refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution body, the details of which we will provide to you in response to your complaint.
1.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable, except in cases where the course is closed due to adverse weather conditions.
1.2 In poor or unsettled weather, we strongly advise customers to check course conditions prior to playing.
1.3 Tickets, Clubs and Balls for the Adventure golf course are available in the Cabin Café and Bar during opening hours and from the Golf Shop at all other times (within Adventure Golf Opening Hours)
1.4 Dogs are not permitted on the adventure golf course.
1.5 Maximum of 4 players per group.
1.6 Children under 12 must be supervised at all times by someone 16 years or over.
1.7 Only food and drink purchased in The Cabin – Cafe & Bar or golf shop to be consumed on the course. 1.8 Only equipment provided by China Fleet Country Club may be used on the course.
1.9 Please play holes in order and wait for the group ahead to finish before starting.
1.10 Do not climb on any features or structures.
1.11 Players participate at their own risk. China Fleet Country Club accepts no liability for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment or failure to follow course rules.
1.12 Any deliberate damage to the course or equipment may result in a charge for repair or replacement.
1.13 China Fleet Country Club is not responsible for personal belongings lost or left on the premises.
1.14 China Fleet Country Club reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive.
1.1 This is a professional qualification, which is nationally recognised, taught over an intensive period and includes both dry and poolside time. There will be an exam at the end. Every candidate attending a NPLQ course must be 16 years+ at the time of taking the NPLQ final assessment and be able to: – Jump/dive into deep water – Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds – Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water – Tread water for 30 seconds – Surface dive to the floor of the pool – Climb out unaided without ladder/steps and where the pool design permits
1.2 Candidates will need to bring their own refreshments, appropriate swimwear, shorts, t-shirt, pen and paper.
