Join our academy
Our fully qualified PGA golf professionals have an aptitude for conveying technique and gameplay through verbal instructions and physical demonstrations. Feel safe in the knowledge that we have everything in place to safeguard children, young adults and vulnerable adults when visiting China Fleet Country Club.
Andy Michael
Andy is a Class AA PGA Professional with over 12 years experience coaching golfers of all ages and abilities. Andrew continues to make a difference to golfers he works with, making their game more enjoyable and successful.
James Ruth
James is a former European Tour player with over 10 years of competing at the highest level. Having worked with some of the best coaches in the world James feels he has the credentials to improve everyone in all aspects of their game.
Ross Whitelock
Ross turned professional in 2004 and spent 8 years competing on the Challenge Tour and mini tours across Europe. Ross became a PGA coach in 2015, and enjoys coaching golfers of all ages and abilities. Ross continues to compete on the PGA West Region.
Family Golf Access
Family sessions
An exciting format designed to encourage new participants to play golf for the first time, with the opportunity to learn the game on the golf course.
9 different levels/bands to work through, participants can progress to the next level as soon as they attain the band score, moving one level at a time after posting a score. All participants start with the maroon band.
When each level has been obtained, junior participants are presented with a coloured wrist band/certificate, Adults with a coloured poker chip ball marker.
Free club hire is available. Golf shoes or trainers are required.
