Level Access
There is level ground floor access to:
• Leisure & Hotel Receptions (Cobbles directly outside the front doors)
• Disability Friendly Tamar and Lynher apartments. Downstairs apartments also available on request
• Main club wet and dry changing areas and disabled changing room
• Downstairs disabled toilets, male and female toilets
• Main club gym (one step up to cardiovascular equipment)
• Sports Hall
• Main club swimming pool with pool chair and ramp for access (please request ramp on arrival)
• Aqua Spa (excluding the hot tub which is on a raised platform)
• Farmhouse Function Room
• Pacific, South China and Coral Function Rooms
• Conference Male, Female and Disabled Toilets
• Golf Shop and Driving Range
• The Cabin and Adventure Golf Walkways
• Cabin Outdoor seating area
• Golf Course
• Grass Pitch Area (no pathways in this area, only grass)

The first floor can be accessed from the main passenger lift or from the first tee area of the golf course. Once on the first floor there is level access to:
• Lounge Bar – Over 16’s (excluding raised area of 2 steps)
• Brasserie (excluding raised area of 3 steps)
• Brasserie Disabled, Male and Female toilets
• Upper Deck Bistro
• Fun Zone Play area
• Golf Male and Female changing rooms (excluding showers with one step)
• Kingsmill Function Room
• Atlantic Function Room
• Kingsmill Male and Female Toilets

Self-Catering Apartments
• There is a telephone next to the bed with a 24-hour manned reception
• Disabled friendly apartments have a level access shower
• 3 x Disability friendly Tamar Plus Apartments and 1 x Disability Friendly Lynher apartment available
• The TVs in the lounge and bedroom have subtitles
• All apartments have open plan kitchens
• From the main entrance to the kitchen, there is level access
• The work surface is at a height of 930mm, the oven is set under the work surface
• The hob and sink are at a height of 930mm
• Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights, bedside lamps, and natural daylight
• All bedrooms are non-smoking
• All bedrooms have fitted carpets
• The bedroom is flexible (either double or twin), and the bathrooms are ensuite
• We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility
• We have tables and chairs and non-slip bathmats on request
• From the main entrance to the bedroom, there is level access to all disabled friendly apartments (Cobbles outside the front entrance)
• In all disability friendly rooms, the bathroom has a level access shower with fitted handrail and shower chair
• In all disability friendly rooms, the toilets have handrails. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the left. The taps are lever operated. There is space under the basin, without pedestal
• The walls and the bathroom fittings have high colour contrast

General
• Staff are available 24 hours a day
• Some staff have disability awareness training
• Glass doors have contrast markings
• We have a wheelchair if needed as a result of injury (behind hotel reception, opposite Pacific Function Room)
• The doors to the main complex are double automatic doors
• When you arrive, we can help carry your luggage
• We don’t offer a service to transport visitors

Other Areas
• Hotel Reception – From the main entrance to reception, there is level access. The check-in desk has a low section for wheelchair users. You can sit down at reception
• Swimming Pool – From the main entrance to the swimming pool changing area, there is level access. There is a ramp that can be put into the pool on request and the pool starts
with a shallow beach area which gets progressively deeper. We have a pool wheelchair available for wheelchair users
• Golf Shop & Toptracer Driving Range – From the main entrance to the shop, there is level access
There is a permanent ramp into the shop and the route through the shop. The Toptracer driving range is level throughout and bays are spacious
• The Gym – There are gym instructors at hand to always assist in the gym
• The Cabin – From the main entrance to this area, there is level access into the cabin. There is an accessible toilet at the entrance to the cabin and the surface is level throughout
• Woodland Adventure Golf – Access from the Cabin to the adventure golf starts with a ramp at the rear of the cabin. The adventure golf course has an undulating path around the entire area however the playing surface is undulating due to the nature of the game
• Woodland Fairy Nature Trail – The surface is undulating and mixed terrain as it follows the natural edge of the estuary. Due to the different terrains in this area, we wouldn’t recommend taking the route in a standard wheelchair
• Conference Rooms – All conference rooms are set up to customers exact specifications and are wide-open accessible spaces
• Golf Course – We operate a parkland 18-hole golf course which is undulating and contains normal water and sand hazards found on golf courses. Buggies are available to hire at an additional cost, we have a partial buggy path only and therefore golf buggies are permitted subject to the weather for customer safety

Parking
• We have a car park with 8 accessible parking spaces at the closest part of the car park to the main Club. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance and is free.
• Electric Car Charging on the BP PULSE NETWORK is also available
• There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb
• From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. The path is sloped
Fire & Safety
• The fire alarm has a combination of flashing lights and sirens in the apartments and evacuation message and flashing lights in the main complex
• We have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors as the use of the elevator is not permitted during an evacuation.
• Staff are available in all areas to assist with any evacuation
• 2 x Evacuation Chairs are situated on the first floor by the Fun Zone and Kingsmill Function Room staircases. Staff are trained in the use of the evacuation chairs

Lift
• We have one lift in the main complex, giving access to the first floor
• The apartments are located separately from the main complex and first floor apartments can only be accessed via the stairwell
• The lift door is 800mm wide
• The lift is 1070mm wide. The lift is 1420mm deep
• The lift says the floor number at each floor
• The lift buttons have raised numbers and letters

Getting here
• There are various bus routes to Fore Street Saltash which is a 20 minute walk from the China Fleet Country Club. The bus stop is 1.20 miles / 32.4 km from China Fleet Country Club
• The nearest train station is Saltash Train Station. Which is a 30 minute walk from China Fleet Country Club. The train station is 1.6 miles / 2.6 km from China Fleet Country Club.
• The local taxi company is Cottons Taxi, 01752 848484. This taxi company has a wheelchair-accessible vehicle
